THE HISTORY OF BASSO
Founded in 1977, Basso Bikes have over 40 years of cumulative experience in creating the ultimate riding machine from their Treviso base. Their range now spans from the race-focused Diamante SV, to the gravel grinding Palta & Tera.
By retaining classic styling and a commitment to designing the best handling frames on the market, Basso provide a unique perspective to the modern volume focused bike marketplace.
With all carbon frames handmade and painted at their in-house production facility, Basso are able ensure the highest possible quality standards and bring the latest innovations to their product ranges.

BASSO PALTA & BASSO TERA
The Basso Palta & Tera take the laser sharp handling of the Basso road range and apply it to the gravel bike category in two distinct ways.
Basso’s Palta model is designed to provide a performance feel to the gravel bike category. With more aggressive geometry than its competitors, the Palta will push you to ride challenging terrain as fast as you dare. Palta stands for ‘dirt’ or ‘mud’ in the local dialect, and the bike lives up to its name by eagerly taking on all terrain.
The Basso Tera meanwhile is a distinctive prospect in the gravel bike market. The Carbon Fibre rear triangle has a unique, fixed-pivot suspension solution with 8mm of flex that gives the Tera an unrivalled ride quality over the roughest terrain, and combined with dropper post compatibility, this is a bike that is at the forefront of gravel innovation.
